Aaron Burr is a formerly NYC-based artist originally from South Carolina which is why he is passionate about having this intensive in his hometown of North Myrtle Beach.
Aaron is on faculty with Showstopper Dance Conventions, and the Bold Dance Project, Epic Dance Conventions, and Endless Talent Dance Conventions and Competitions. He is the founder of the Palmetto Tap Intensive that takes place annually in Myrtle Beach, SC and tap choreographer for Celtic Fyre at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. His credits include A Celebration of Cole Porter featuring Harry Connick, Jr (Broadway), Tap Dogs (International Tour), Dr. Dolittle featuring Tommy Tune (National Tour), and Rhythmic Circus: Feet Don’t Fail Me Now (National Tour).
Aaron has also been seen tap dancing on NBC’s World of Dance, NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and ABC’s Good Morning America. Additional theatre and dance credits include Goodspeed Opera House, Marriott Theatre (Lincolnshire, IL), The Rev Theatre, Holland America Cruise Lines, and Hapag Lloyd Cruise Lines.

Ayodele Casel, has been named a 2019–2020 fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University where she will be writing her next theatrical work. The 2017 recipient of the “Hoofer Award”, Ayodele premiered her one-woman show "While I Have The Floor" at the Spoleto Arts Festival to rave reviews. Her work is rooted in the expression of identity, culture, language, and communication. A frequent New York City Center collaborator, she was selected to create an interactive performance engaging NYC communities for their “On The Move” 5 borough tour. Ayodele also served as choreographer for Carole King and Maurice Sendak's musical "Really Rosie" for its Encores! Off Center under the direction of Leigh Silverman, a soloist for Jeanine Tesori’s “Jamboree”, a soloist at Fall For Dance, and a soloist for “¡Adelante Cuba!” as part of Latin Jazz great Arturo O’Farrill’s Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra.
Ayodele can be seen all over your television in Third Watch, Law and Order, The Jamie Foxx Show, Bojangles, and Savion Glover's Nu York. She has originated roles at the New York Fringe Festival and in Derick Grant's work at the Harris Theater in Chicago. She served on the artist board at New York City Centers Encores! Ayodele has recieved commissions for her original work and has performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Off Broadway. She has been featured for her accolades and activism in many magazines and publications. Ayodele is the director of graduate programs at A BroaderWay Foundation and the Co-Director of well known Original Tap House, and Operation: Tap.
Hailed by the legendary Gregory Hines as “one of the top young tap dancers in the world,” and by The New York Times as “A tap dancer of unquestionable radiance”, Casel has steadfast become an internationally sought after artist and powerful voice for the art form. Click for Website!
Luke Hickey is a NYC based tap dancer, choreographer, filmmaker and actor hailing from Chapel Hill.
Named by Dance Magazine among "25 To Watch" for 2020, Hickey began studying with his mentor, JUBA Award recipient Gene Medler, at the age of seven. Under the direction of Mr. Medler, Hickey completed 10 consecutive seasons training and touring with the internationally acclaimed, North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble (NCYTE).
Currently residing in Brooklyn, NY, Hickey is an alumna of the School at Jacob’s Pillow and Pace University NYC (BA Film & Screen Studies, BA Communications Studies, cum laude). In 2017, Hickey was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine to breakdown the legendary BS Chorus. In the Fall of 2018, Hickey made his choreographic and director debut with his work, A Little Old, A Little New at the world famous Birdland Jazz Club in NYC. Hickey's choreography is also seen in the new Independent feature film, A Bread Factory, which was listed on The New Yorker's "Best Movies of 2018." In the summer of 2019, he presented his work at Jacob's Pillow for the Inside/Out Stage Series.
Onstage, Hickey has most notably performed at the Joyce Theater, the Guggenheim Museum’s Works and Process Gala with Dorrance Dance, American Dance Festival, New York City Center, Vail Dance Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Appel Room, The Kennedy Center, American Dance Festival, Macy’s Herald Square, and Karole Armitage’s “American Dream” at the Ravello Festival in Italy. Josh Nixon began dancing at the Centreville Dance Academy in Virginia. As a well-rounded student of dance, Josh trained in ballet, lyrical, jazz. Mr. Nixon’s professional choice was the art of Tap Dance, encouraged by his trainers Pam McCormick and Heidi Stafford. Josh joined MYTE (Metropolitan Youth Tap Ensemble), a semi-professional company, based in Virginia under the direction of Katie Padgett and Jason Holley where he was exposed to performing opportunities throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC. Performing live, Corporate events and television commercial choreographic works, by Broadway veteran Joseph Webb and Crishon Jerome.
With the privilege of participating in shows, residencies, workshops and festivals in America and 20 countries throughout the world, Josh's professional career has evolved to also afford him the opportunity to serve as the Assistant to Joseph Webb, the Artistic Director of House of Tap, youth company. Josh is a proud member of Chloe Arnold's Apartment 33, Ryan Johnson's SOLE Defined and Heidi Stafford's Sundays on Tap. Josh has been seen most recently performing at the Root 100 Awards, Lincoln Center, The Smithsonian Institution, and on the Hapag and Lloyd cruise ship, MS Europa 2.
Josh is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Management and Film from Arizona State University, Josh passes on his love, respect and knowledge for tap dance as a guest instructor at Shenandoah University and throughout the DC/Metro Area. Click for Website!
Christina Carminucci, from New Jersey, is a New York City based tap dancer. She began her training with the American Tap Dance Foundation's Tap City Youth Ensemble and has studied extensively under the mentorship of Derick K Grant. Christina is a Cum Laude graduate from Pace University.
"Nucci" has appeared in works by Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Brenda Bufalino, and Jason Samuels Smith, to name a few. Additionally, this proud Jacob’s Pillow Tap Program alumna has danced with a number of companies including Michelle Dorrance’s Dorrance Dance, Sarah Reich's Tap Music Project, and Chloe Arnold’s Apartment 33. Christina has performed throughout the NYC area in many acclaimed venues, including The Duke on 42nd, Jazz at Lincoln Center, New Victory Theater, and Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), and award show stages, including the Capezio A.C.E Awards and the 2016 Bessie Awards.
Nucci has worked internationally as an ensemble member of Christopher Erk’s Tap Factor performing two original shows on board the MS Europa 2 of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. As an choreographer, Christina co-produced On That Note at Feinstein's/54 Below (2018), Teatro Sea (2017), and Don’t Tell Mama cabaret club (2016). Most recently, she debuted her first original one-woman show “When the Smoke Clears” at the Triad Theater in NYC.
She currently teaches at the American Tap Dance Foundation as an Artist in Residence, and is on faculty at Steps on Broadway. Most recently, Christina launched The Solidarity Series, a virtual and in-person live streamed performance experience geared toward connecting tap dance and jazz music with the world. Passionate about sharing her love and knowledge of the art form, she teaches regularly at Steps on Broadway in NYC and at various workshops around the country and world.Christina is focused on developing her own works that represent tap dance with the highest respect. Kurt Csolak is the son of a drummer and performing arts school owner. Kurt grew up in New Jersey surrounded by the arts and naturally gravitated towards tap dancing.
Professionally, Kurt has performed on NBC's World of Dance, taught at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, and the Peridance Capezio Center in NYC. He has been faculty at multiple tap festivals/intensives including Joffrey School Miami Tap Intensive, Tap United, Palmetto Tap Intensive, and and has been accepted as a judge at the IDO World Tap Championships in Germany.
Other stage credits include: International Tour of Tap Dogs, Dorrance Dance, Caleb Teicher & Co, Top Hat Lab with Chris Gatelli, Tap into the Night with Tap Factor, featured soloist and choreographer at Tap United in Boston, MA, I Love Tap with Derick K. Grant, America’s Got Talent with Aaron Tolson, Dance Captain of Andrew Nemr’s “CPD Plus” tap company.
