Our Story

Aaron Burr, the founder of the Palmetto Tap Festival, grew up dancing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As a young dancer, Aaron traveled all over the country to attend the top intensives and festivals and he felt that it helped him to become the tap dancer he is today. This summer we are holding the 5th Annual Palmetto Tap Intensive here in the Carolinas! It is a 3 day event in SC featuring some of the greatest tap instructors in the country!

Our MISSION

Established in July of 2017, our mission is to bring quality tap dancing closer to YOU that is accessible and challenging for students of all levels. We are seeking those students who want to push themselves, take their tap dancing to the next level, and of course, HAVE FUN along the way!
